. <br />• <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council at a meeting on May 9, 1988 and after <br />a public hearing, adopted Ordinance No. 7873-88 approving the Lease; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the .State Board of Tax Commissioners issued its Order <br />approving the Lease pursuant to IC 6-1.1-18.5-8 on May 24, 1988; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority desires to approve modifications to the <br />Lease which do not increase the term of the Lease or the rental <br />amount of the Lease, and the Authority further desires to execute the <br />Lease, as modified, a copy of which is attached hereto as "Exhibit <br />A ~~ <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />• 1. .The Authority hereby approves the modifications to the Lease <br />and approves said Lease, as modified. <br />2. The President and Secretary of the Authority are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute and attest, respectively, the <br />Lease, as modified, in the form attached hereto as "Exhibit A." <br />3. The Secretary of the Authority is hereby directed to file a <br />copy of the Lease, as modified and executed,. with the Commission. <br />4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect after its <br />adoption by the Authority. <br />-2- <br />
