(ommfttss *sport: <br /> Community and Economic Development <br /> to Os Common CouiuUY of the City of South lit tan <br /> The September 21, 1994 meeting of the Community and Economic Development <br /> was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Roland Kelly, at 4:00 P.M. in the <br /> Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Luecke, Slavinskas, Kelly, <br /> Duda, Ladewski, and Puzzello; Jon Hunt, Beth Leonard, Kate Schrum, and Kathleen <br /> Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Kelly, noted that the purpose of the meeting was to review the <br /> proposals on the 1995 CDBG, HOME, and ESG proposal summary and the suggested <br /> funding levels for each. <br /> Mr. Jon Hunt and Beth Leonard then reviewed in detail the four page handout <br /> (copy attached). <br /> It was noted that this year the proposal will not be publicized or advertised in the <br /> newspapers because such cost is becoming cost prohibitive.Instead copies will be available <br /> in each of the Public Libraries,the Common Council office,the Community and Economic <br /> Development office, and offices throughout the City of South Bend, Mishawaka and St. <br /> P g <br /> comment will take place on October 3, 1994 and will continue for a <br /> Joseph County.Public co p <br /> 30 day period.
