atommfttut Soot t: <br /> Community and Economic Development <br /> go the Common Council of the tits of bouth 140: <br /> The May 23, 1994 meeting of the Community and Economic Development <br /> Committee was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Roland Kelly at 4:38 <br /> P.M.in the Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Kelly, Coleman, Luecke, <br /> Ladewski, and Puzzello, Duda, Slavinskas, Washington, Zakrzewski; Maureen <br /> Dabrowiak, Gretchen Bolan, Don Porter, Kenneth Fedder, Michael Beitzinger, Leo <br /> Priemer,Joseph Piscione, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> The first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 94-47, which is a three year <br /> real property tax abatement request for the properties commonly known as 421 S. Main and <br /> 201 W. Monroe. Mr. Michael Beitzinger reviewed the Economic Development Report <br /> dated May 16, 1994 (copy attached). <br /> Mr. Leo Priemer spoke on behalf of this project. The building is the former White <br /> Radiator Building. They plan to renovate the building inside and repave the parking lot. <br /> Two new jobs would be created. It is located in a tax impact area. <br /> Council Member Ladewski made a motion to send this Bill to the Council <br /> favorably, seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski. The motion carried. <br /> The Committee the reviewed Resolution No. 94-48, which is a ten year real <br /> property tax abatement request for the property commonly known as Toll Road Industrial <br /> Park, Lot 15. Mr. Michael Beitzinger reviewed the Economic Development Report dated <br /> May 16, 1994(copy attached). <br /> Mr. Joseph Piscione made the presentation for Midwest Embroidery Developers <br /> Limited Partnership.
