Klosinski, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 117-059C South Well Field Backwash Line Relocation <br />Agenda Request – Award Bid <br />DATE: September 1, 2022 <br /> <br />The Board of Public Works opened and read bids at the August 23, 2022 Board of Public Works <br />meeting for the subject project. One bid was received and the bids ranked as follows: <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR TOTAL BASE BID <br />HRP Construction, Inc. $251,168.00 <br /> <br />Assessment <br />The Bid documents submitted by HRP Construction were found to be complete. M/WBE good faith <br />efforts were determined to be acceptable. MBE commitment 1.5% (Project Goal 1.32%). WBE <br />commitment 3.5% (Project Goal 3.44%). <br /> <br />Recommendation – Award Bid <br />The Division of Engineering and Division of Utilities recommend award of the contract for <br />Project No. 117-059C South Well Field Backwash Line Relocation to the lowest, responsive, <br />responsible bidder, HRP Construction, Inc. (South Bend, IN) for the Base Bid amount of <br />$251,168.00. <br /> <br />Account amounts shall be adjusted in DFO to adjust to the Base Bid value for this contract. <br /> <br />For questions regarding the subject agenda request, contact Jacob M.
