Assistant Chief Wolvos noted
that the ordinance calls for a"revolver" and that discussion should take place in the near
future on this issue. He noted that the value of the guns in question is approximately two to
three hundred dollars more than the current service revolver.
Mr. Littrell noted that much of the work on the MSF Gas Tanks is federally man
dated. He stated that the new tanks would be leak protected and would have updated
recording and dispersing with key tags for increased efficiency.
Council Member Ladewski inquired wether the County and City should consider
cooperative efforts with regard to gasoline for vehicles.
Council Member Coleman and Council President Puzzello voiced concern with
regard to the fact that Island Park should be called"Special Olympics Park". Mr. Horton
stated that he would check into the matter.
Following further discussion,Council Member Luecke made a motion seconded by
Council Member Zakrzewski, that Substitute Bill No. 68-94 be recommended favorably to
Council. The motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting
was adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Council Member Sean Coleman, Chairperson
Personnel and Finance Committee
SC:KCF:jah
Attachments
