Count U of the £ity of §outs 3Beu.b: <br /> The August 24, 1992 meeting of the Zoning and Vacation Committee was called to order <br /> by its Vice-Chairperson, Council Member Ann Puzzello at 3:30 p.m. in the Council <br /> Informal Meeting Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Washington, Puzzello, Luecke, <br /> Zakrzewski, Coleman, Kelly, and Duda; Jon Hunt, Mike Dobson, Tom Eddington, John <br /> Byorni,Don Porter, Cleo Hickey,and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrrand. <br /> The first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 64-92 which was a request to vacate <br /> the first north south alley east of South Clinton. <br /> Mr. Mike Dobson made the presentation. He showed a final site plan prepared by Peirce <br /> and Associates. Cleo Hickey indicated that the Economic Development Department would <br /> like additional landscaping. It was indicated by Council Member Puzzello that such a <br /> request was more proper at the zoning hearing. <br /> Following further discussion Council Member Washington made a motion seconded by <br /> Council Member Coleman that Bill No. 64-92 be recommended favorably to Council. The <br /> motion passed. <br /> The Committee then reviewed Bill No. 54-92 which is a request to vacate the first north- <br /> south alley south of Rush Street in the first east-west alley south of east Monroe Street. <br /> Cleo Hickey made the presentation. She showed the Monroe Park site plan to the <br /> Committee. <br /> Following discussion Council Member Coleman made a motion seconded by Council <br /> Member Washington that Bill No. 54-92 be recommended favorably to Council. The <br /> motion passed. <br /> The Committee then reviewed Bill No. 65-92 which is a Bill to vacate the first north-south <br /> alley west of south Rush Street and the first east-west alley south of the east Monroe. Cleo <br /> Hickey presented the "Grading and Utility Plan" of Peirce and Associates (copy attached). <br /> It was indicated that the Monroe Park Apartments would have 58 units and that an <br /> Easement Agreement would be given in order to have access to one garage in question. <br /> Council Member Coleman asked for a status update and was advised that the project had <br /> gone through the Design Review Committee. <br /> Following further discussion Council Member Coleman made a motion seconded by <br /> Council Member Washington that Bill No. 65-92 be recommemded favorably to council. <br /> The motion passed. <br />
