PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> The October 25, 1993 meeting of the Personnel and Finance <br /> Committee was called to order by its Chairperson Council <br /> Member Ann Puzzello at 3 :50 p.m. in the Council Informal <br /> Meeting Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Luecke, <br /> Washington, Kelly, Puzzello, Slavinskas, Zakrzweski, <br /> Coleman, Duda, and Ladewski; Jenny Pitts Manier, Don <br /> Porter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council member Puzzello noted that the only item to be <br /> reviewed by the Committee was Bill No. 85-93 which would <br /> appropriate $1, 271. 40 from the Coveleski Improvement Fund <br /> for the purpose of providing flood relief to the City of <br /> Davenport, Iowa. <br /> Jenny Pitts Manier of the City Attorney's Office stated that <br /> she would be available for questions. She noted that Mayor <br /> Joseph E. Kernan would present the Bill this evening. <br /> Council Member Coleman questioned what the state of <br /> conditions were in Davenport in light of the flooding <br /> situation. <br /> Following further discussion, Council Member Coleman made a <br /> motion, seconded by Council Member Washington, that Bill <br /> No. 85-93 be recommended favorably to Council.
