PERSONNEL AND FINANCE AND UTILITIES JOINT COMMITTEE <br /> The October 25, 1993 meeting of the Personnel Finance <br /> Committee and the Utilities Committee was called to order by <br /> Utilities Chairperson Council Member Thomas Zakrzewski at <br /> 4 : 15 p.m. in the Council and Informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Luecke, <br /> Washington, Kelly, Puzzello, Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, <br /> Coleman, Duda,'. and Ladweski; John Leszczwnski, Don Porter, <br /> and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> The first item to be reviewed by the joint committee's was <br /> Bill No. 87-93 which would appropriate $116, 000. 00 of the <br /> Cummulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the Ironwood <br /> widening and Storm-Sanitary Sewer Project. Mr. Leszczwnski, <br /> noted that $75, 000. 00 was left over form the Edison Road <br /> project and thus would be transferred into the Ironwood <br /> widening project. Council Member Puzzello voiced concerned <br /> with regard to the non-completion of the sidewalk at S .R. 23 <br /> and Ironwood. <br /> The Committee than reviewed Bill No. 88-93 which would <br /> appropriate $490, 000. 00 within various accounts of the Waste <br /> Water Fund. Mr. Leszczwnski noted that $240, 000. 00 would be <br /> used for the storm-sanitary sewer system in the Twyckenham <br /> Road Widening Project, and $250, 000. 00 for the Portage Sewer <br /> project the Portage project is sanitary sewers only where as <br /> the Twyckenham project would be storm sewer only. <br /> Following further discussion Council Member Slavinskas made <br /> a motion, seconded by Council Member Washington, that Bill <br /> Nos. 87-93 and 88-93 be recommended favorably to Council . <br /> The motion passed. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Joint <br /> Committee, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Thomas Zakrzewski, <br /> Chairperson, Utilities Committee <br /> Ann Puzzello, Chairperson, Personnel Finance Committee <br /> Attachments <br />
