RESOLUTION NO. 160 <br />• A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOUTH <br />BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION TO APPROVE AND EXECUTE. A REPEAT <br />OF LOTS 1B AND 1C OF THE BLACKTHORI~1 OFFICE PARK <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority") has been <br />created pursuant to Ind. Code § 36-7-14.5 (the "Act") as a separate_body, corporate and politic, <br />and as an instrumentality of the City of .South Bend, Indiana (the "City") to finance local public <br />improvements for lease to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") on <br />behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority holds title to certain properties within the Blackthorn Office <br />Park, including the lots commonly referred to as Lot 1B and Lot 1C of the Blackthorn Office <br />Park and desires to replat -those .properties. to redistribute a portion of land between. the <br />properties; and <br />WHEREAS, to effect the replat, the Authority desires to expressly authorize the Director <br />of Economic Development for the Commission to execute such administrative documents as <br />necessary to complete the replat of the Property on the Authority's behalf; <br />• NOW,. .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ;THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />L The Director of Economic Development. of the Commission, Donald E: Inks, or <br />his successor (the "Director") is hereby authorized to perform, on behalf of the Authority, all <br />administrative acts related to the replat of the Property described herein, including but not <br />limited to the execution of documents necessary to complete the replatting process. <br />2. .This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its adoption: <br />ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority held on October <br />10, 2007 at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend; Indiana <br />46601. <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY <br />--= <br />ATTEST: `Si nature <br />~~- Print Name n Tit e <br />J'tgnat e <br />
