PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> The November 29, 1993, meeting of the Personnel and Finance <br /> Committee was called to order by Chairperson Council Member Ann <br /> Puzzello at 5 :20 P .M. , in the Council Informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Luecke, <br /> Washington, Kelly, Puzzello, Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, Coleman, <br /> Duda and Ladewski . Also present were Mary Mueller, Don Porter <br /> and Fire Chief Luther Taylor. <br /> The only item to be reviewed was Bill No. 100-93, which involved <br /> an appropriation of $66, 060 . 00 from the Emergency Medical <br /> Services (E.M.S . ) Capital Improvement Fund. Chief Taylor <br /> discussed the need for various capital expenditures for the <br /> E.M. S . program, including expenditures for a new E.M. S . boat, an <br /> air compressor and appropriations for lease-purchase payments for <br /> Engine No. 3 . <br /> Following discussion and questions by Council Members, Council <br /> Member Zakrzewski made a motion, seconded by Council Member <br /> Coleman, that Bill No. 100-93 be recommended favorably to the <br /> Council .
