" <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Duda, Kelly, Zakrzewski, Ladewski, <br /> Washington, Slavinskas, Puzzello, Coleman, and Luecke,Pat O'Connell, Eric W. Strom, <br /> John Fonash, Ernest J. Szarwark,Don Porter, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council member Kelly noted that the first items on the agenda were Resolution Nos. 92-43 <br /> and 92-44 which are tax abatement requests for Aucilla Incorporated. <br /> Mr.John Fonash reviewed the Department of Economic Development report dated May 20, <br /> 1992 (a copy of which is attached). <br /> Resolution No. 92-43 is a request for personal property and Resolution No. 92-44 is a <br /> request for a six year Real Property Tax Abatement. The petitioners are Dafir/Aucilla <br /> Inc.,for property located at 3333 North Kenmore Street. Investment of 1.6 million dollars <br /> will take place. The area in question is within a TIF area and also within the Airport <br /> Industrial Park Phase IV. <br /> Mr. Ernest Szarwark then provided additional information to the Committee. He noted that <br /> the petitioner is in the business of custom ejection molding of plastic polymers used <br /> primarily by the electronics,health care,automotive, and appliance industries. <br /> The Committee then reviewed the report and found that all of the requirements of the local <br /> ordinance had been met. Council Member Slavinskas made a motion seconded by Council <br /> Member Duda that Resolution Nos. 92-43 and 92-44 be recommended favorably to <br /> Council. The motion passed. <br /> The Committee then reviewed Resolution No. 92-45 which is a Person Property Tax <br /> Abatement request for Ricasso Inc. <br /> Mr. John Fonash reviewed the report of the Department of Economic Development dated <br /> May 10, 1992 (a copy of which is attached). He noted that this is a five year personal <br /> property request for the property located at 2603 Foundation Drive. <br /> Mr. Ernest Szarwark noted that this is a new corporation which will be producing a wide <br /> variety of grain based food products. New equipment is estimated at$1,500,000. It will <br /> create forty (40) new permanent full times times with an annual payroll of$750,000. It <br /> was also noted that the petitioner will be leasing the building in question. <br /> Following further review and report, Council Member Duda made a motion seconded by <br /> Council Member Slavinskas that resolution No. 92-45 be recommended favorably to <br /> Council. The motion passed. <br /> The Committee then reviewed Resolution No. 92-46 which is a real property tax abate <br /> request for Spin-Cast Plastics Inc. Mr. John Fonash reviewed the May 20, 1992 report of <br /> the Department of Economic Development. • <br />
