INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />TO: Theresa Heffner, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Zach Hurst, Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Reject Bid - Project No. 121-033AR <br />VPA Athletic Court Renovations – Phase 2 <br />DATE: June 30, 2022 <br />On June 28, 2022, the Board of Public Works opened and read aloud bids for the subject <br />project. Milestone Contractors North submitted the lone bid, in the overall amount of <br />$2,610,159.87. <br />Upon review of the submitted bid package, it was determined that Milestone had neglected to <br />include the M/WBE Utilization Forms. To that end, they were not able to meet the project’s <br />M/WBE goals, and the bid must be rejected as non-responsive. <br />A third bid will be required, as the project will need to be re-scoped to accommodate budget <br />limitations. <br />Please contact me with any questions. <br />July 12, 2022
