In most instances, the Risk Assessment Report will list several remediation options from which an owner may <br />choose. Those options will range from interim control to complete abatement of the hazard. <br />If a lead poisoned child has been identified in the unit, remediation is required within sixty (60) days of this report. In <br />other instances, the timeframe for remediation may be negotiable or it may be mandated under other specific program <br />regulations. <br />When the remediation is completed, or if there is a problem with the completion of the work, the risk assessor should be <br />contacted immediately.
