Bruit: <br /> The January 27, 1992 meeting of the Human Resources and Economic Development <br /> Committee was called to by its Chairperson, Council Member Roland Kelly at 4:45 p.m. in <br /> the Council Informal Meeting Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Zakrzewski, Duda, Coleman, Luecke, <br /> Washington, Kelly, Puzzello, Ladewski and Slavinskas; John Fanash, Don Porter, and. <br /> Bob Voss and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Kelly noted that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss Resolution <br /> No. 92-10 which is a tax abatement request for personal property for the project located at <br /> 3620 West McGill Street. <br /> Mr. John Fanash then reviewed the report from the Redevelopment Commission noting <br /> that it met all of the state and local requirements to entitle it for a five year personal property <br /> tax abatement. He also noted that it was within a TIF area, and the appropriate Resolution <br /> was passed by the Redevelopment Commission. <br /> Mr. Bob Voss noted that the new equipment would allow production of new products, and <br /> that thirty new jobs would be created. <br /> Following favorable discussion, Council Member Slavinskas made a motion seconded by <br /> Council member Duda that Resolution No. 92-10 (a Petition on Behalf of Bangor <br /> Refrigeration) be recommended favorably to Council.
