a <br /> Page 2 <br /> January 28, 1991 <br /> Human Resources and Economic Development Committee <br /> Council Member Puzzello suggested that they start with <br /> neighborhoods of the greatest in the Northwest and the <br /> Northeast, and further suggested that zoning concerns also <br /> be addressed. <br /> Mr. Hunt noted that they anticipate utilizing the computer <br /> mapping systems and would work closely with the Police <br /> Department and the Code Enforcement Department. <br /> Council Member Luecke questioned whether neighborhood <br /> profiles would again be utilized. Mr. Hunt stated that he <br /> would prefer to work on a block by block approach and <br /> address land concerns, zoning concerns, and public works <br /> needs. He stated that they should provide a technical role <br /> and work cooperatively with neighborhood groups and not for <br /> profit agencies. <br /> Council Member Soderberg questioned how much additional <br /> funding would be needed for the computer mapping system in <br /> addition to the $6, 000. 00 appropriation. Mr. Hunt stated <br /> that Chief Ron Marciniak would be available to address this <br /> at the regular Council Meeting this evening.. <br /> Following further discussion, Council Member Slavinskas made <br /> a motion seconded by Council President Niezgodski that Bill <br /> No. 5-91 be recommended favorably to Council .
