(Iommttt t Rr1wrt
.,public Works Committee
Oho tlit Comm Ulounrit of tip CV of i'ootl1 nih:
The August 12, 1991 meeting of the Public Works Committee
was called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Tom
Zakrzewski at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting
Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Niezgodski,
Puzzello, Luecke, Zakrzewski, and Duda; Barbra Gato, Jeff
Jankowski, Chief Marciniak, David Fritz, Don Porter, Jeff
Rinard, Bob Wilson, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Zakrzewski noted that the purpose of the
meeting was to discuss Bill No. 47-91 which would
appropriate $279,937.00 from the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund
for Equipment and to reinstate the reduction imposed by the
State Tax Commissioners.
Mr. Jeff Rinard then reviewed the Substitute Bill. He noted
that the bill was necessary in light of the fact that the
wrong account numbers were listed. Consequently, account
"1001" was changed to "1002". The purpose of the bill is to
reinstate the State Tax Commissioners reduction imposed last
November during the budget hearings. The appropriation
would allow the purchase of four compactors and a fork lift.
Following further discussion Council Member Duda seconded by
Council Member Luecke that Substitute Bill No. 47-91 be
recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed.
There being no further business to become before the
Committee the meeting was adjourned at 4:35 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
Council Member Tom Zakrzewski, Chairperson
Public Works Committee
att.
