' -~ RESOLUTION NO. ~ ~P • RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 145 ENTITLED "RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY LEASE RENTAL REVENUE REFUNDING AND IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 2001 (CENTURY CENTER PROJECT) AND OTHER RELATED MATTERS" WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority") has been created pursuant to IC 36-7-14.5 as a separate body, corporate and politic, and as an instrumentality of the City of South Bend to finance local public improvements for lease to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission"); and WHEREAS, the Authority intends to issue bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed Seven Million and 00/100 Dollars ($7,000,000.00) pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14.5-19 and • I.C. 5-1-5 to be known as the "South Bend Redevelopment Authority Lease Rental Revenue Refunding and Improvement Bonds of 2001 (Century Center Project)" (the "Bonds"), the proceeds of which, along with certain cash on hand, are to be used to (i) advance refund the South Bend Redevelopment Authority Lease Rental Revenue Bonds of 1994 (Century Center Project) (the "Refunded Bonds") issued in 1994 to finance the acquisition of and construction of certain local public improvements to the Century Center facility located in the City (the "Project") and the costs of issuance of the Refunded Bonds; (ii) pay the costs of certain improvements to the Project (the "2001 Project") from proceeds of the Bonds available as a result of the refunding; and (iii) pay the costs of issuance of the Bonds; and WHEREAS, the Authority adopted Resolution Number 145 entitled "Resolution of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority Authorizing the Issuance of the South Bend •
