With this addition, the schedule now <br />consists of ten (10) designated holidays and one (1) additional non‐designated (floating) holiday : <br /> New Year’s Day (observed) Friday, December 31, 2021* <br />Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Monday, January 17, 2022 <br />Memorial Day Monday, May 30, 2022 <br />Juneteenth (observed) Monday, June 20, 2022 <br />Independence Day Monday, July 4, 2022 <br />Labor Day Monday, September 5, 2022 <br />Veteran’s Day Friday, November 11, 2022 <br />Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 24, 2022 <br />Day after Thanksgiving Friday, November 25, 2022 <br />Christmas Day (observed) Monday, December 26, 2022 <br />*Note that the New Year’s Day holiday will be observed on December 31, 2021. In accordance with Sec. 2-120(b) of <br />the South Bend Municipal Code, this holiday shall be treated as if it fell into 2022 for the purposes of designating 11 <br />holidays. <br />May 10, 2022
