If money is appropriated by Congress, <br /> the program can be in effect by January 1, 1992. <br /> Council Member Ladewski questioned the status of the Housing <br /> Allowance program. Mr. Roos noted that Hollis Hughes is <br /> currently wearing two hats, one as Executive Director of the <br /> County Public Housing Group and the other with the Housing <br /> Assistance Office. He noted that there would be no <br /> duplication of efforts. <br /> It was noted that first reading on the resolution would take <br /> place on Monday, August 12 with public hearing and adoption <br /> at the meeting on August 26.
