Due to the Executive Order by Indiana Governor Holcomb, the Committee meeting will be legally held by way of a hybrid and by using the Microsoft Teams Meeting app. Members of the public have the option to attend the meeting in person or may access the meeting virtually by the following link: https://tinyurl.com/050222CR. On March 14, 2022, the South Bend Council passed a hiring process resolution for the hiring of the Community Police Review Board Director. One of those steps was a public input meeting and the release of demographic data of the candidate pool. On Monday, May 2nd the Council Community Relations Committee will hold that public input meeting and release the initial demographic data of the candidate pool. The Council will seek input from the community regarding the desired skills, experiences, and characteristics and potential second and third-round interview topics and questions that the community and the Council believe should be priorities as the hiring process moves forward. In addition to releasing of demographic data, the Council will provide an update on the process and prospective timeline moving forward. 6:00-7:15 P.M.
