Day 0 <br />Meeting 1 •Board of Public Works (BPW) opens bids <br />Day 0-6 •ODI does not grant a goal waiver for lowest bid <br />•ODI communicates to the bidder in writing by email <br />Day 7-14 •Contractor emails or mails a letter to Diversity and Inclusion Officer within <br />7 days with intention to appeal decision <br />Day 14 or <br />before <br />•Appeal is due <br />•Diversity and Inclusion Officer notifies IPB, BPW, Public Works, Legal that <br />appeal has been received <br />Day 14 <br />Meeting 2 •BPW publicly acknowledges denial of goal waiver <br />Day 15-23 <br />•IPB meets to hear appeal (IPB will schedule a special meeting if <br />necessary to meet time frame) <br />•IPB determines whether goal waiver should be granted <br />•If approved, the recommendation to BPW would be that the bid will be <br />eligible for award by BPW if all other requirements are met <br />Day 28 <br />Meeting 3 <br />•BPW awards either to successful appellant or to next lowest responsive <br />bidder.
