1 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Following further discussion, Council Member Duda made a <br /> motion seconded by Council Member Slavinskas that Bill Nos. <br /> 106-90, 107-90, and 108-90 be recommended favorably to <br /> Council. The motion passed. <br /> Council Member Luecke then called upon Jon Hunt to review <br /> Resolution No. 90-65 under Miscellaneous Business. Mr. Hunt <br /> noted that this is a Resolution which would approve an Order <br /> of the Area Plan Commission as well as a Declaratory <br /> Resolution in the Economic Development Area Development Plan <br /> adopted by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br /> He noted that basically it does three things, namely extend <br /> the economic development area and TIF to incorporate the two <br /> recent annexations; establish a Design Review Committee; and <br /> ammends the acquisition list by adding ten additional <br /> parcels to it. He noted that Ann Kolata would give the <br /> presentation at this evenings meeting. In response to a <br /> question raised by Council Member Slavinskas, it was noted <br /> by Mr. Hunt that several discussions with many of the <br /> owners, have taken place and meetings at some of the actual <br /> sites placed on the acquisition list have taken place. <br /> No formal action was taken on this Resolution. <br /> There being no further business to come before the <br /> Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 4: 00 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Steve Luecke, Chairperson <br /> Human Resources & Economic Development Committee <br />
