Qtumml#trr &port <br /> PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> Ma tie Qlmmnwn Council of Hp fatty of*until litttb: <br /> The April 9, 1990, meeting of the Personnel and Finance <br /> Committee was called to order by its chairperson, Council <br /> Member Ann Puzzello at 5:40 PM in the Council informal <br /> meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Luecke, <br /> Niezgodski, Soderberg, Puzzello, Slavinskas, Zakrzewski, <br /> Coleman, Duda, Voorde; John Phair, Hedy Robinson, John <br /> Leisenring, Mike Meeks, members of the news media, and <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Puzzello then called upon Mr. John Leisenring <br /> to review Bill No. 23-90 which would appropriate $3852. 00 <br /> from the Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium Fund. <br /> Mr. Leisenring noted that this appropriation would be used <br /> to install a combination gate and check valves in the locker <br /> rooms at the stadium. He noted that currently the drains <br /> are backing up with water and sewage. This was not <br /> originally addressed in the original building <br /> specifications. <br /> Council Member Luecke questioned the amount of money in the <br /> fund and Mr. Leisenring noted that there is approximately <br /> $60-70, 000. 00. He noted further that the funds are received <br /> from sales at concessions with the first $100,000. 00 being <br /> used for park maintenance, the next $50,000. 00 for capital <br /> improvements, and the next $25,000. 00 for neighborhood <br /> improvements. <br /> Following further discussion, Council Member Zakrzewski made <br /> a motion, seconded by Council Member Luecke that Bill No. <br /> 23-90 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion <br /> passed.
