Zoning & Vacation Committee <br /> September 24, 1990 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Mr. Scott Keller of Barnes & Thornburg representing the <br /> Petitioner, Dr. Macri. He noted that the purpose of the <br /> vacation is to move on-street parking to off-street parking. <br /> He presented a drawing of the area in question (copy <br /> attached) . <br /> He noted that the proposed vacation received favorable <br /> reports from Area Plan, Economic Development and the Board <br /> of Public Works. <br /> Mr. Bob Sante noted that this would leave a "t-alley" and <br /> therefore proper turning radius must be addressed through an <br /> easement agreement. <br /> Council Member Coleman spoke in favor of the request and <br /> noted the need for parking in this area. <br /> Following further discussion, Council Member Luecke made a <br /> motion seconded by Council Member Coleman that Bill No. 74- <br /> 90 be recommended favorably subject to an easement agreement <br /> being approved by the City Engineering Department.
