.. • Resolution No. 122 A RESOLIITION OF THE SOIITH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AIITHORITY ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY ' FROM THE SOIITH BEND REDEVELOPMENT CO1~Il~iISSION WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, ("Redevelopment") is the owner of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana: See attached Exhibit A (collectively hereinafter referred to as the Real Property); and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14-12.2, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") may dispose of real property;. and WHEREAS, the Commission, desires to transfer the Real Property to the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority") for construction of improvements to the Morris Civic Auditorium and Palais Royale Ballroom; and • WHEREAS, the Authority, desires to acquire the Real Property from the Commission; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-1-11-8, the Commission may exchange or transfer property with another governmental entity upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity;-and WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission,__at its meeting of February 20, 1998, adopted its Resolution No. , approving the transfer of the Real Property to the South Bend Redevelopment Authority. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. That-the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and generally described as follows: See attached Exhibit A by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission to the South Bend... Redevelopment Authority shall be, and hereby is, accepted. • 2. That the Director of Redevelopment for the City of South Bend shall cause the recording of the quitclaim deed
