QImmmtttrr Evart <br /> HUMAN RESOURCES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br /> inn <br /> tip emus= Couurti of tltr Ott*j of Smell Snit <br /> The June 8, 1987 meeting of the Human Resources and Economic <br /> Development Committee was called to order at 4 : 15 p.m. in the <br /> Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included : Councilmen Braboy , <br /> Zakrzewski, Taylor, Barcome, Puzzello, Beck, Serge, and Voorde; <br /> K.C. Pocius , Jim Wensits , and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Councilman Braboy noted that the purpose of the meeting <br /> to review Bill No. 49-87 which would appropriate $321,000.00 from <br /> the Redevelopment State Grant Program Fund to be administered by <br /> the Department of Economic Development . <br /> Mr . K.C . Pocius then briefly reviewed the bill. He <br /> indicated that the City had received $ 160,500.00 in a loan, and <br /> $160, 500.00 in a matching grant from the State Department of <br /> Commerce. These sums of monies would be used to construct a new <br /> road from approximately 1511 South Olive west for a distance of <br /> eight hundred feet (800') to the current Mastic site. He then <br /> showed a site development plan for the road construction <br /> Following discussion by the Committee, Councilman Puzzello <br /> made a motion, seconded by Councilman Beck, that Bill No. 49-87 <br /> go to Council favorably.
