(gottuattrt anted <br /> - JOINT MEETING - <br /> PERSONNEL & FINANCE COMMITTEE - PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE <br /> Wu the &uutwn Council of ills Ong of fooutli iiRII <br /> The June 8 , 1987 meeting of the Personnel & Finance <br /> Committee and the Public Safety Committee was called to order by <br /> the respective chairmen of said committees at 4 :00 p.m. in the <br /> Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included: Councilmen Taylor, Braboy, <br /> Serge, Voorde, Zakrzewski, and Beck; Michael Vance, Jim Wensits, <br /> and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand . <br /> Mr. Vance noted that he had sent a letter dated June 4m 1987 <br /> to Councilman Serge (copy attached) which requested that Bill No. <br /> 51-87 and Bill No. 52-87 be tabled until further notice was <br /> provided by Mr. Vance. He indicated that these bills basically <br /> address a clarification of a particular section within the annual <br /> pay ordinances for the Police Department and the Fire Department. <br /> Based on discussion by the Councilmembers, it was recommended <br /> that the bills be struck from the Council agenda rather than <br /> tabled. <br /> Following further discussion, Councilman Braboy made .a <br /> motion , seconded by Councilman Taylor , that Bill No. 51-87 and <br /> ,Bill No . 52-87 be struck from the Council agenda at this <br /> evening ' s Council meeting .
