The finished product was a beautiful asphalt road with rolled curb and ADA sidewalk. The
improvements have stimulated the construction of new housing in the development.

The Town, with assistance from Abonmarche, received funding from the Indiana Community Crossings
Matching Grant Program which provided a 75 percent match on the Town’s 25 percent investment saving
$392,000 in construction costs.
COLONIAL ESTATES ROAD RECONSTRUCTION
ARGOS, INDIANA
5
Imagination Glen Park and Woodland park provides residents and visitor
of the City of Portage with numerous recreational activities a
gymnasium, skate park, BMX race track, playgrounds, picnic areas, a
dog park.
