PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> The August 18, 1986 meeting of the committee was called to order by its <br /> chairman Councilman Ann Puzzello at 4:10 p.m. , in the Council meeting <br /> room. <br /> Michael Vance, City Controller, indicated they had cut $21,152 from the <br /> budget. <br /> Council Member Beck made a motion to accept the cuts previously made in <br /> the budget, Bill No. 86-86, plus the $21,152, and recommend it to the <br /> Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Braboy. The motion carried. <br /> Council Member Beck indicated she felt some of the police overtime budget <br /> should be transferred into another account. <br /> A discussion was held regarding problems with the police salaries. <br /> Council Member Serge made a motion that Bill No. 87-86 be recommended <br /> favorable to the Council, seconded by Council Member Puzzello. The motion <br /> carried. <br /> Council Member Beck made a motion to recommend Bill No. 88-86, to the <br /> Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Serge. The motion carried. <br /> Council Member Braboy made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member <br /> Serge. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 4: 32 p.m. <br />
