HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE <br /> The August 18, 1986 meeting of the Human Resources Committee was called to <br /> order to its chairman Councilman Eugenia Braboy at 5: 25 p.m. , in the <br /> Council meeting room. <br /> Council Member Braboy indicated the purpose of the meeting was to discuss <br /> to abatements one for Cerilean Products and the other for Steel Warehouse. <br /> Jon Hunt read the Redevelopment staff report on Cerilean Products. Tim <br /> Woods, attorney representing Cerilean Products indicated they were <br /> applying for real and personal property abatement. He indicated they <br /> planned to add on to their existing facility, as well as purchase <br /> machinery. Council Member Beck made a motion that this resolution <br /> received a favorable recommendation. <br /> Jon Hunt read the Redevelopment staff report on Steel Warehousing. Gerald <br /> Lerman, indicated that Steel Warehousing, planned to purchase machinery <br /> which would keep them competitive in the market. He indicated that 7 to <br /> 15 new jobs will be created. Council Member Taylor made a motion to <br /> recommend this resolution to the Council favorable, seconded by Council <br /> Member Braboy. The motion carried. <br /> Council Member Beck made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member <br /> Puzzello. The motion carried. <br />
