Mr. Zeigler requested that the bill be withdrawn ( copy of
letter attached) . Following discussion, Councilman Zakrzewski made a
motion seconded by Councilman Puzzello that Bill No. 107-84 be struck from
the agenda at the petitioner's request. The motion nassed unanimously.
Councilman Voorde then reviewed the Area Plan report dated
November 20, 1934 for Bill No 111-84 which is the rezoning for the property
located at 501, 503, and 507 East Ohio, Because a new legal description
was necessary a substitute bill was on file with the Clerk' s office.
The petitioner is seeking a zoning change from B-Residential B height
in area to D light industrial F height in area The Proposed use would
be a storage and warehouse facility. The petitioner was not present
for the meeting.
Glenda Rae Hernandez voiced concern over the closeness of the
property to residential areas . Mr. Doug Carpenter questioned what the
height of the building would be. He noted that a major change in the site
plan would be caught by the Building Commissioner and would require the
petitioner to go back to the Area Plan Commission. Councilman Zakrzewski
also voiced concern regarding the height of the building.
Following discussion, Councilman Zakrzewski made a motion seconded
by Councilman Puzzello that Bill No. 111-84 (Substitute verison) be continued
at the public hearing if the petitioner is not present, and in light of
several unanswered questions that the Bill go to Council without
recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the
meeting was adjourned at 5 : 25 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
John Voorde, Chairman
FRSB 88888 PUBLISHING CO.
