Councilman <br /> Voorde noted that this was a substitute bill. <br /> The Petitioner, Sylvester Klusczinski was present and noted that <br /> his company makes molded plastics. He had owned and operated the business <br /> for nine years and wasin 'need of expansion. Presently he has 39 <br /> employees and would be increasing to 50-60 employees. He then reviewed the <br /> site plan with the Committee showing where the 8 drywells would be located. <br /> Councilman Braboy noted that"Syl was her pride and joy" , and <br /> she spoke very favorably about the proposed zoning change. Following <br /> favorable comment by the Committee, Councilman Serge made a motion seconded <br /> by Councilman Zakrzewski that Bill No. 23-84 as amended be recommended <br /> favorably to Council. The motion passed 5T,0. <br /> Doug Carpenter suggested that there should be a note of thanks <br /> to several developers who have definitely improved their neighborhoods <br /> by their progress. He noted Whiteford Leasing on Western Avenue as a prime <br /> example.
