Mainz 2irr Erpnrt <br /> • <br /> Wn flit Common (Qounrtf of 10 mUg of�nutfi limb: Public Safety Committee <br /> The November 5, 1984 meeting of the Public Safety Committee <br /> was called to order by its chairman Robert Taylor at 5 : 15 D .M. in <br /> the Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Councilmen Crone , Serge, Paszek, <br /> Taylor, Braboy, Zakrzewski, Voorde, Beck, and Puzzello; Mike Vance <br /> and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Mike Vance then reviewed Bill No. 119-84 which would <br /> appropriate revenue: sharing money to pay the 1984 Police and Fire <br /> Pension costs . He noted the bill should be amended from $1,600,000 <br /> to $1,485 ,000. Next year the City would be getting approximately <br /> $1,500, 000, which would be received quarterly and invested. <br /> Following discussion by the Committee, Councilman Zakrzewski <br /> made a motion seconded by Councilman Beck that the amended version <br /> of Bill No 119-84 be recommended favorably. The motion passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> ' Councilman Taylor then noted that he Plans to initiate a <br /> zoning ordinance to re-zone the properties on Ireland and Hawbaker <br /> from A-Residential to B-Residential. He . then showed the properties <br /> in question on an aerial map.
