Older Adults Committee was called <br /> to order at 5 :10 p.m. by its Chairman, Councilman Al Paszek in the Council <br /> Tnformal Meeting Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included:. Councilmen. Serge, Braboy, Beck, <br /> Puzzellod Taylor, Paszek, Crone, and Zakrzewski, James Seitz., and Kathleen <br /> Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Councilman Paszek stated that the purpose of the meeting was to <br /> review Bill No. 39-84 which would appropriate $25, 000 of Revenue Sharing <br /> money for the Howard Park Senior Citizens Center., <br /> • <br /> Mr. Seitz explained that the money would be used to fund the <br /> salaries of the Director, Assistant Director, and part-time custodian <br /> at the Howard Park Senior Citizens Center. He noted that there are <br /> approximately 140 active full-time members who take part in various seminars, <br /> arts and craft programs and other social and recreational activities. <br /> Councilman Crone noted that this is the same amount that had been <br /> budgeted before. <br /> Following discussion Councilman Crone made a motion seconded by <br /> Councilman Braboy that Bill No. 39-84 receive a favorable recommendation <br /> from the Committee.
