• <br /> a4 m Mart ErporI ZONING AND VACATION <br /> The June 27, 1983 meeting of the Zoning and Vacation Committee was called <br /> to order at 2 : 30 p.m. by its Chairman, Councilman John Voorde in the Council <br /> informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Councilmen Zielinski, Voorde, Harris, <br /> Szymkowiak, and Beck, John Leszczynski, Jim Wensits, Dick Maginot, and Kathleen <br /> Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> The purpose of the meeting was to review Bill No. 41-83 which would vacate <br /> the first east-west alley south of Napoleon Street. <br /> It was noted that-the Board of Public Works gave a favorable recommendation <br /> to the alley vacation subject to a written access agreement between the owners <br /> of Lot 61 and 62. It was also noted that favorable comments for the vacation <br /> were 'received from the Engineering Department, Area Plan Commission, and <br /> Community Development. <br /> Following further discussion by the Committee as to the need to vacate <br /> this property, Councilman Harris made a motion seconded by Councilman <br /> Szymkowiak that Bill No. 41-83 be recommended favorably to Council. The <br /> motion passed unanimously. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting <br /> was adjourned at 2 :45 p.m. <br /> • <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> John Voorde, Chairman <br /> ***The minutes of the June 13, 1983 meeting of the Zoning and Vacation Committee, <br /> should be corrected in paragraph four.
