OInmmitttt tinrz <br /> c3ln flit Tmmutmn alountil atilt fll1tig of'nutli 3htnd: HUMAN RESOURCES AND ECONOMIC <br /> DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br /> The January 25, 1982 meeting of the Human Resources and Economic <br /> Development Committee was called to order by its chairman, Councilman <br /> John Voorde at 6: oo p.m. in the Council Meeting Room. <br /> . Persons in attendance included Councilmen: McGann, Taylor ,Voorde, <br /> and Szymkowiak; Pat McMahon, Brian Montgomery, Marchmont Kovas , and <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the tax abatement petition <br /> filed by P.A. I . Properties for the 600 block of East Bronson. <br /> Councilman Voorde reviewed the petition with the Committee . He noted <br /> that it received a favorable recommendation from the Redevelopment Commission <br /> on January 15th. <br /> Pat McMahon, Director of Redevelopment , stated that this would be <br /> the fourth parcel in the area which would be sold. He noted that he <br /> believes that it meets all of the criteria and was especially pleased <br /> that this company was desiring to locate within the Monroe-Sample . <br /> development area. <br /> Mr. Brian Montgomery, a representative of P.A. I . Properties stated <br /> that this would be a new office building and a manufacturing building <br /> which would be leased by Plast-Add, Inc. <br /> Following discussion by the Committee, Councilman Taylor made a <br /> motion seconded by CouncilmanMcGann that the property located at the 600 <br /> block of East Bronson receive a favorable recommendation therefore <br /> qualifying as an Urban Development area.
