Recodification•_'Committee was
called to order by its Chairman, Councilman Raymond C . Zielinski, at
4: 00 in the Council informal meeting room.
.Persons in attendance included. Councilman Zielinski, Irene Gammon,
City Clerk, Eugenia Schwartz, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
The purpose of the meeting was to review Bill No . 8-82 which was sent
to the Committee for review and recommendation.
Councilman Zielinski called upon the Council Attorney to update the
Committee on her review of the Bill.
The Council Attorney passed out a proposed substitute version of
Bill No. 8-82, and a two page memorandum explaining the changes (copy
attached) . The Committee then asked questions of the various changes,
however there appeared to be a general consensus to accept the substitute
bill as proposed.
Eugenia Schwartz then updated the Committee on the work presently
being conducted by the City Attorney' s office which would affect Chapter' s
2, 6, and 13 .
The question of costs was again brought up . Following discussion,
it was recommended that Councilman Zielinski send a letter to the City
Controller requesting a breakdown of the monies included in the 1982
Budget for legal advertisement and supplement service; and the balances
for each.
There being no further business to come before the Committe, the meeting
was adjourned at 4: 40 p .m.
Respectfully Submitted,
;e2 )40!5' /#
e..ymond ielinski
FRS[ PP PP rusllsHIRa co.
