Tru mtUrr itrpnrt <br /> Qlnmuwn Cgoutuil of tip Mfg of f3,outti PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> The November 22, 1982 meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> was called to order by its chairman Councilman Beverly Crone at 5 :30 p.m. in <br /> the Council informal meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included: Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Beck, <br /> McGann, Taylor, Zielinski, Crone, Harris and Voorde; -Sherrie Petz, Kathy <br /> Hubbard, and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Councilman Crone stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss <br /> Bill No. 132-82 which would create three new positions in the 1983 salary <br /> ordinance. Councilman Crone noted that these positions had been discussed at <br /> length during the time of the budget review. It was noted .that one position <br /> would be created for Discovery Hall, eight positions for the Police Department, <br /> and two positions for the Water Works. <br /> Following discussion by the Committee, Councilman McGann made a motion <br /> seconded by Councilman Voorde that the Bill No. 132-82 be recommended favorably <br /> to Council. The motion passed 4-0. Ms. Hubbard-also noted that all of the <br /> persons are on staff presently, except for the Archivist. • <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee the meeting <br /> was adjourned at 5 :40 p.m. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> .
