Page 2. <br /> Michael Wiedt mentioned in his home town of Pittsburgh they <br /> engraved social security numbers on the bicycles. Councilman Crone <br /> speculated that perhaps improvements can be made if the City would <br /> eliminate the impoundment fee; and just have citizens call in their <br /> name, address, telephone number, bike description, and serial number. <br /> Councilman Beck said that that type of system Gould be similar to <br /> the procedue used in Louisville, Kentucky. <br /> The members of the Committee then voted with Councilman Taylor <br /> voting against a favorable recommendation, and Councilman Beck voting <br /> in favor. In light of the one to one tie, Councilman Beck will report <br /> back the Bill to the full Council without a Committee recommendation. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, <br /> the meeting was adjourned at 5:15 p.m. <br /> Respect ully Submitted, <br /> — Ill , <br /> Beverlie J.
