Solicitations-Charitable The Council Attorney noted that she had met with the Recording Secretary of the Charitable Solicitations Commission, and noted that the Commission had adopted a Resolution to maintain their present fee structure ranging from $1. 00 up to $500. 00. The Committee accepted the recommendation. 8. Taxicabs - $35. 00 per vehicle per year $ 5.00 per driver per year The Committee had a considerable amount of discussion on whether the taxi stand license of $125. 00 should be retained. The Committee decided to continue such a fee. Following further discussion,Councilman Voorde made a motion seconded by Councilman Szymkowiak to recommend Bill 121-81 as amended to the Council favorably. The Motion passed 4-0. The Council attorney stated that she would have a substitute Bill reflecting all additions marked by underlining and all deletions marked by a cross-through of Bill No. 121-81 ready for the entire Council by Monday morning. Councilman Crone requested input from the City Administration as to their overall position on the Bill. The administrative representatives stated that they would report back.to the Committee. Councilman Crone recommended that the Committee proceed ahead in reviewing all public works licenses by fee amount only. She suggested that such a bill be ready for filing on November 18, 1981,and be based on a calendar year .cycle.
