• <br /> flummtttrr Erpnrt <br /> (Ju tie <br /> Cum= Tomtit of tilt Mitg of'oath limb: RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD COMMITTEE <br /> The November 9, 1981 meeting of the Residential Neighborhood Committee was <br /> called to order by its Chairman, Councilman Beverlie Beck at 5: 00 p.m. in <br /> the Council meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included: Councilmen: Voorde, Taylor, Zielinski, <br /> Crone,Beck, McGann, Serge, and Szymkowiak; John Leszczynski, Stephen Drendall, <br /> and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Councilman Beck stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss Bill NO. <br /> 122-81 regarding the vacation of a portion of Sunnymede Avenue. • Councilman <br /> Beck then called upon Mr. Leszczynski to give an update on the action taken <br /> by the Board of Public Works at this mornings meeting. He noted that the <br /> Board gave a favorable recommendation subject to Holy Cross Health Systems <br /> joining in the proposed vacation. He stated that the recommendation would <br /> be unfavorable unless the joined in. He noted that the Clerk to the Board <br /> had sent a copy. of the minutes of this meeting to all council members. <br /> Mr. Drendall, the petitioner,then reviewed a diagram of the proposed <br /> vacation with the Committee and passed out several pictures of the area in <br /> question. He -stated that he had attempted to contact Holy Cross Health <br /> Systems. He expressed his concern about possible employee traffic <br /> emptying into a residential neighborhood and the potential harm that could <br /> result. <br /> Following further discussion, Councilman Voorde made a motion seconded by <br /> Councilman Taylor that this Bill have a public hearing this evening and then <br /> continue it to the next council meeting on November 23, 1981 to enable the <br /> petitioner to contact Holy Cross Health Systems. The motion unanimously <br /> passed. Councilman Beck requested the Council Attorney to send a letter to <br /> Holy Cross Health Systems advising them of this action. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee the meeting was <br /> adjourned at 5: 35 p.m. <br /> • <br /> Respectfully Submitted <br /> Beverlie Beck, Chairman <br /> • <br /> IR[L ►LLL[ .kearto. ►UOLILNIN6 CO. <br /> • <br />
