SMURR <br /> Director <br /> Members of the Common Council <br /> Council Chambers <br /> County-City Building 4th Floor <br /> South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br /> Dear Members of the Council : <br /> Attached you will find three Ordinances for additional appropriations <br /> needed by South Bend Water Works Depreciation Fund, the South <br /> Bend/Clay Sewage Works Operating and Maintenance , and Depreciation <br /> Fund. I have enclosed a brief description of each below for your <br /> information. <br /> The additional appropriation from the Water Works Depreciation <br /> Fund. These funds are needed to defer the cost of additional capital <br /> improvements and equipment obtained by the Water Works . These <br /> additions and/or improvements were in the area' s of, Water Meters , <br /> Office Equipment , and large equipment Overhauls and Repairs . <br /> The additional appropriation from the South Bend/Clay Sewage Works <br /> Operating and Maintenance Fund. These funds are needed to meet the <br /> cost of managerial services provided by the South Bend Water Works <br /> and Sewage Treatment provide the South Bend Waste Water Treatment <br /> Plant. This is the first year of budgeting for the South Bend/Clay <br /> system and these additional funds are to meet under estimated <br /> expenses . <br /> The additional appropriation from the South Bend/Clay Water Works <br /> Depreciation Fund.
