All of these photographs were taken on the morning of <br />September 20, 2021 in the Chapin Park Local Historic District. The majority of the <br />pictures demonstrate clearly the presence of vinyl -clad windows in houses on Ashland, <br />Leland and Portage. <br />This collection is a sample of the homes within Chapin Park, but the clear majority of <br />homes within the sample had updated vinyl windows. <br />The home at 815 Ashland, moreover, was a work in progress. Window fins had been <br />recently nailed in, but not re-covered by framing material. <br />
