70 <br />Wednesday August 21st, 1907. <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Bond of H. Delis be Co filed and approved and Contract signed for the Bartlett <br />street Grade, Curb & Walk Improvement. <br />Petition filed for electric light at the Cor. of Ind ave and Taylor street. <br />Proposition submitted by the Union Asphalt Construction Company agreeing <br />to repair Asphalt Pavement at the following -prices. <br />Asphalt topping...............................f1.55 per Sq. Yd. <br />Cut Holes, 6" Concrete, with Asphalt topping...$2.25 per Sq. Yd. <br />Said proposition was Accepted. <br />South Bend & Mishawaka Gas Co were granted -permission to overhaul their mains <br />and services on Washington street from Michigan street to Scott street. Work to <br />begin immediately. <br />Engineer filed Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Brick Pavement on <br />Crescent avenue from Emerick street to Hill street; Brick Pavement on Michigan <br />avenue from Alley west of Johnson street to Olive street, Pipe Sewer on Notre Dame <br />avenue from Sorin street to City Limits, Cement Walk & Curb on Coquillard street <br />from Sorin street to South Bend avenue; Cement Walk �- Curb on'Cedar street from <br />Emerick street to Hill street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 4202 4182 <br />3942 427 & 405 respectively. <br />Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six <br />consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, cormencing on the 22nd'day of <br />August 1907, stating that this Board will give � hearing on the amount of such <br />assessments at its office in the City Hall on the�3rd•.day;of.-Septe3nber 19Q7q,t 7:15 Phi <br />Resolved further, that the entire 1-orl under the above contracts be accepted <br />and approved and the.final'estimate thereon allowed. 'Notice of this resolution <br />shall be published on the 22n.d day of August 1907 in the South Bend Daily Times.. <br />stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its <br />office in the City Hall on the 3rd day of September 1907s at 7:15 P.
