760 <br />The Board met in.regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Petition filed for Walk & Curb on east side of Cherry street from Jeff St. to L.S.R.R. <br />Bonds were released of Staples & Ackerman for the Marietta street Pipe sewer and <br />B. T. Vanderkarr & Son for the North Spruce Place Grade, Curb & Walk. <br />Remonstrance filed by the L. S. & M. S. R.R. Co. against the opening of Kline <br />street across their right of way. Same was -OVER RULED. <br />Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 31 for the appropriation of the <br />following described property: <br />Kline street shall be opened and extended across the entire Right of Way of the Lake <br />Shore & Michigan Southern Railway from its northern terminus in Frank Mayr's Vistula <br />avenue Addition for the width of sixty (60) feet to the north line of the railway <br />Right of Way. <br />In the above matter no further remonstrantors appeared and no further remonstrances <br />were filed. All other remonstrances were over -ruled. The Board therefore declare <br />the above described property in all things condemned and appropriated for public use. <br />Bonds of.Chas. L. Headley were filed and approved and contracts were signed for the <br />Linden avenue Grade, Curb & Walk and the Johnson street Grade, Curb & Walk. <br />In the matter of the Condemnation of a building at No. 805 W. Division street, <br />hearing on same was deferred untio August 23rd, 1907, at 10 A. M. <br />In the matter of the opening of Blaine avenue, under Condemnation Resolution No. <br />282 all action in said matter is hereby RESCED. <br />Hearing was given on the Roll showing the award of damages and the assessment <br />of benefits in the matter of the opening of Carroll street, under Condemnation <br />Resolution No. 29. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find that the said Assessment Roll filed July 23rd, 1907, should be <br />and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Petition filed for the paving of certain drives in the City Cemetery with Macadam. <br />GRANTED. <br />Petition filed for Brick Pavement on the alley south of Jeffersonhreet <br />from Lafayette street to William street. Referred to Engineer for Spec?fications. <br />Plans were received for two new Hose Houses. Same will be taken up in a joint <br />meeting with the Board of Public Safety on Tuesday AuR 20th. 1907. at 7:15 P. M. <br />
