.ir Saturdav July 20th, 1907. The.Board met in regular -session -at 10 A. M. All members present. Petition filed for the paving and sewer on Webster street from Sample street to Huron street. Referred to the Engineer for specificatons. Communication received from the S. B. a Mish Gas Co relative to the pollution of the Bowman Creek. Contract signed with the Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana Railway Company relative to said C ompany handling Interurban -cars of other companies entering the City. Same was referred to the Common Council for its action thereon. m CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION N0. 30. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That :• the following described property be appropriated for use of said city: Olive street to be opened and extended for its full width of sixty (60) feet from the north right of way of the New Jersey, Indiana & Illinois Railroad to the south line of Sample street extended west, corssing and extending ever the right of way of the New Jersey, Indiana & Illinois R. R. the Grand Trunk Western Ry and the Indiana, Illinois & Iowa Ry. (now called the C. I. & S. Ry.) Also opening and estending Sample street westerly over and across the right of way of said railroads its full,width of sixty-six (66) feet. The following described property may be injuriously of beneficially affected by such approprsation: The Grand Trunk Western Ry Co. The Chicago, Indiana & Southern Ry. Co. Operated by the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Ry. Co. New Jersey, Indiana & Illinois R. R. Co. The purpose of such appropriation is to open Olive street its fu 1 width acros- the Grand Trunk Western Ry. Co., The Chicago, Indiana & Southern Ry Co and the New Jersey, Indiana & Illinois R. R. Co. Notice of this resolution shall be published &n the 23r(` day of July and on the 30th day of July 1907, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 6th day of August 1;07, at 10 A. M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by thest proceedings.
