NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. -7 ;70.. <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $133,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL <br /> PARK FUND. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Department of Public Parks has a surplus in the <br /> General Park Fund because of a balance left in the 1985 Park <br /> budget and higher than anticipated revenues. It is necessary to <br /> appropriate these funds to cover unanticipated needs in various <br /> accounts within the Park Maintenance Fund and for improvements, <br /> equipment and for the payment of such other fees and expenses <br /> attributable to the operation of a professional baseball team at <br /> the Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $133 ,000.00 is hereby <br /> appropriated for the year 1986 from the General Park Fund. This <br /> appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public <br /> Parks and will be distributed as set forth below: <br /> ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> 120.0 Salaries & Overtime $35,000.00 <br /> 225. 0 Household, Laundry, Cleaning 2,000.00 <br /> 255. 0 Other Materials 15,000.00 <br /> 261. 0 Other Supplies 13 ,000.00 <br /> 315. 0 Veterinarian 3,000.00 <br /> 398.4 Land Fill 3 ,000.00 <br /> 399. 0 Other Contractuals 62,000.00 <br /> Total $133 ,000.00 <br /> SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force <br /> and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and <br /> approval by the mayor. <br />
