r <br />Friday April 26th. 1907. <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Petition filed for grading of Bungalow Court. <br />Remonstrance filed against the S. Main street Asphalt. <br />Petition filed for Grade, Curb & Walk on Jackson street from Sample street to <br />Dunham street. Referred to the Engineer for Specifications. <br />The following contracts were awarded: <br />Anderson Court <br />Walk, Curb & Macadam. <br />N. <br />L. Headley <br />The awarding of the contract for the King street Grade, Curb & Walk was <br />deferred until Tuesday April 30th, 1907. <br />Petition filed for Grade, Curb & Walk on Dubail avenue from.Dale avenue to <br />Bowman creek. Referred to Engineer for specifications. <br />Contractor Bond of rough Anderson filed and approved. <br />Communication received from the Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana Railway <br />Company asking the Board to set a time for the consideration, in detail, of the <br />establishment of the service between the city of South Bend and Winona, as well as, <br />the consideration, generally, of the use of its said ,tracks by such interurban <br />companies as the city of South Be -rid may desire and authorize to enter the city. <br />The Board haviAnder consideration the opening of Park avenue from Leland <br />avenue eastward to Forest avenue under Condemnation Resolution No. 27, adopted on the <br />5th day of February, 1907; and having considered thequestionof awards of damages <br />and assessment of benefits to the property effected by said Condemnation Resolution, <br />the Board finds that the various pieces of real estate effected by said resolution <br />and named on the assessment roll herein prepared in the matter of said condemnation <br />Resolution are benefitted in the amounts shown therein, or are damaged in the <br />amounts awarded and shown on said roll. arZI rP,#/r <br />The Board therefore fixes the 4th day of June, 1907, for a hearing on said <br />assessment roll, and the Clerk is directed to issue notice according to law to the <br />owners thereof by personal notice to resident owners and those who.may be found, <br />and notice by publication in the South Bend Daily Times'as required by law on non- <br />resident owners and those whose addresses cannot be found. <br />
