5 (39 <br />Friday November 2nd, <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. <br />Petition filed by the property owners on Leer street asking for cross walks. <br />Referred to the Street C&mmissioner. <br />Bids were opened for Water Conneetions on West Jefferson street from Miehigan <br />street to Lafayette street. Same were rejected and new bids to be received in the early <br />part of 1907. <br />Hearing on Assessment Roll for Water Connection on N. Taylor street from Michigan <br />avenue to Marion street, under Imp Res No. 410 A. Deferred until Friday Nov 9th, at 10 A.M. <br />"S-Z, <br />Hearing given on Assessment Roll and final estimate for Cement CurbingAon North <br />Walnut street from Division street to Ford,street, under Improvement Resolution No. <br />359! <br />No further remonstrants appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board there <br />fore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed October 16th, 19062 is benefitted <br />in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board further find that the <br />assessment roll filed October 16th, 1906, and the final estimate filed October 16th, <br />1906, should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION N0, 24. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />That the following described property be aippropriated foe the use of said eity-: <br />Begin on the°South Line of Indiana avenue 165 feet west of the west line of Miehigan <br />street; thence south paralle$ with the west.line of Michigan street 567.91 feet to the <br />south line of the Cook property; thence west 14feet; thence north parallel with said <br />west line to the south line of Indiana avenue; thence east 14 feet to the place of <br />beginning. <br />The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially <br />affected by such appropriation. <br />Begin at the intersection of the south line of Indiana avenue and the <br />west line of Michigan street; thence south 113 feet; thence west to the <br />east line of Main street; thence north to.the south line of Indiana avenue; <br />thence east to beginning. 113 ft. Eliza Violet: Matilda Baer, Elizabeth <br />Eisenbeiss & Margaret J. Ream. <br />All of the tract of land, begin 133 feet south of the south line of <br />Indiana avenue and on the west line of Michigan street thence west to the <br />east lime of Main street; thence south 132 feet; thence east to the east <br />line of Michigan street; thence north to beginning, except therefvom the <br />Sarah Stover housfi at 1619 south Michigan street. 132 feet. <br />Sarah Gertrude Witwer E- Rose G.
