ORDINANCE NO. 7 (09 - � <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4, 000. 00 IN THE <br /> MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND TO <br /> ACCOUNT NO. 399. 0 BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, REPAIRS <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South <br /> Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board of <br /> Managers . <br /> The Century Center Board of Managers has determined that it <br /> is necessary for the operation of the Morris Civic Auditorium that the <br /> exterior display cases and associated electrical corrections be <br /> repaired , that the boiler tube and boiler switch be replaced and that <br /> boiler insulation be installed , and that the vent covers protruding <br /> from the roof be repaired and reinstalled . The Board of Managers has <br /> further determined that an estimated cost for the repairs of such items <br /> is $4, 000. 00. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I. The amount of $4, 000.00 is hereby appropriated <br /> and ordered set apart in the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund <br /> to be used as follows : <br /> Account No. 360. 0 Buildings and Structures, Repairs - $4, 000. 00 <br /> Exterior Display Cases and Associated <br /> Electrical Repairs - $700. 00 <br /> Boiler Tube & Switch Replacement and <br /> Insulation - $2, 300.00 <br /> Roof Repairs & Reinstallation of Vent Covers <br /> Protruding from the Roof - $1, 000.00 <br /> Total Additional Appropriation $4, 000. 00 <br /> SECTION II.
